This Deer Run Camps & Retreats summer camp theme invited campers to learn more about what it means to “Gear Up!” by putting on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6.
The camp theme centered around a medieval knight in full armor, geared up for battle. Campers were greeted as they drove on campus each day by the banner hanging across the entrance road and daily theme signs hung on trees around campus depicting the armor piece(s) of the day and what it represented according to scripture.
Branding carried over to the stage and decor of The Fortress where campers assembled to begin and end their day, in addition to staff resource guides, t-shirts, name badges, and even cupcake toppers at the year end celebration, among many other things.
