Capitalizing on the year’s popular coloring book trend for adults, this Mother’s Day catalog seeks a level of customer interaction like never before, asking customers to share their colored cover through social media outlets. Illustrations from the cover line the pages of the catalog, and a colored version of the same design graces the cover of the Mother’s Day mailer that comes later in the month.
The Mother’s Day promotional color palette draws inspiration from Pantone’s Spring color report and the Mother’s Day line of gifts being sold in LifeWay Christian Stores. The font, Centaurea, echoes the hand drawn qualities of the illustrations and contributes to the cohesive feel of the design.
